Honey Oat Crumble Snack Bites
Ingredients:
* 2/3cup All Purpose Flour
* 1/4cup Brown Sugar
* 3tbsps Corn Syrup
* 1 + 1/2tsp Cinnamon Powder
* 2/3cup Rolled Oats
* 1/8tsp Sea Salt
* 6tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
Note: You can also add in Peanuts or Almonds chopped up if you want more nuts in it.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and grease the parchment paper.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and mix with a fork to coat well. Ensure the dry ingredients are fully coated with the melted butter.
3. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Evenly spread the mixture. Bake at 350degrees for 10-12 minutes, for chewy bites. If you want it crispier, bake for an additional 3-4 minutes. Do not over bake or you will find it is too hard to break.
Note: I use this crumble topping (more chewy) to top most ice cream desserts, adding to the texture of the dessert. I also make this as a snack, that can be boxed and snacked on for up to 2 weeks.
