German Chocolate Brownie Bar

Ingredients:
For the Brownie Layer:
* 1/2cup Unsalted Butter
* 2 Eggs
* 1tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1cup Granulated Sugar
* 1/2cup Cocoa Powder
* 1/2cup All Purpose Flour
* 1/4tsp Salt
* 1/4tsp Baking Powder

For the German Chocolate Layer:
* 1can Sweetened Condensed Milk
* 1tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1 Egg
* 1cup Chopped Pecans
* 1cup Shredded Sweetened Coconut
* 1/4cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350degrees. Grease a square baking dish (8") and then line it with parchment paper and grease the parchment paper as well. Set aside.

2. Melt the butter on medium heat in a small pan. Once the butter is melted, take the pan off the heat and add in the sugar, eggs and vanilla, whisking well so as to not cook the eggs.

3. In a seperate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt. Whisk well.

4. Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture, whisking well as you add the dry to the wet ingredients. Once well combined, pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

5. Bake for 8 minutes, and take it out of the oven.

6. To make the topping, combine the condensed milk, vanilla, egg, pecans and shredded coconut in a bowl, mixing well. Pour over the brownie mixture. Bake at 350degrees for another 24-26 minutes, until the coconut turns golden brown in places. Aproximately 5 minutes prior to taking the bars out of the oven add on some milk chocolate chips (sprinkle over coconut mixture), and lightly pres them in.

7. Leave on a wire rack to cool fully before cutting squares.
