Churros



 Ingredients:
* 1cup Water
* 1/4cup Unsalted Butter at room temperature, diced
* 1tbsp Granulated Sugar
* 1/4tsp Salt
* 1cup All Purpose Flour
* 1 Egg
* 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract 
* Oil for frying
* 1/2cup Granulated Sugar 
* 3/4tsp Cinnamon Powder 



Directions:
1. First combine the sugar (1/2cup)and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Set aside. 

2. Next, combine the water, sugar, butter, and salt in a pan, and bring to a boil, on medium heat. 

3. Add the flour to the mixture and keep mixing with a rubber spatula. The mixture will cook until it comes together, for a few minutes. Transfer the mixture to the bowl of a stand mixer and leave to cool for 5 minutes or so. Preheat the oil at this point on medium heat.

4. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix using the paddle attachment, until well combined, and the mixture comes together. The mixture will become smooth and shiny. 

5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a star tip. 

6. Pipe the batter into the heated oil, and cut using a sissor. Pipe equal length peices. Fry on both sides until golden brown and then transfer to paper towels to soak up the oil, for 2-3 seconds. Immidiately transfer to the cinnamon sugar mixture and coat evenly. Then repeat with the next batch.
