Sea Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Prep time: 15 minutes
Chilling time: 1hour
Baking time: 20-25minutes per batch

Ingredients:
* 1 + 1/2cups All Purpose Flour
* 1tsp Baking Soda
* 1/2tsp Salt
* 1/2cup Unsalted Butter at room temperature
* 1/2cup Light brown Sugar, firmly packed
* 6tbsp Granulated Sugar
* 1 Egg
* 1tsp Vanilla Extract
* 1 + 1/2cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
* Sea Salt Flakes to garnish

Directions:
1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Combine the all purpose flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl, and whisk to combine. Set aside.

3. Using an electric hand whisk, whip the butter and two sugars together until creamy and combined. Add in the egg and vanilla and whip again, until just combined.

4. Add in the flour mixture to the butter mixture, and mix until just combined. Do not over mix.

5. Add in the chocolate chips and combine by hand using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour to chill.

6. When ready to bake pre-heat oven to 350degrees. Using a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop or by hand, place medium sized cookie-balls on the prepared baking sheets 2-3 inches apart.

7. Bake at 350degrees for 20-22 minutes (depending on the size of the cookies). If they are smaller in size 13-15 minutes should do. The cookies are ready when the edges are brown-ish, and the tops are firm and, but soft when pressed down.

8. Once out of the oven leave for 10 minutes to cool. Sprinkle sea salt flakes over the cookies. Enjoy!!

Optional:
These cookies can be served warm with an ice cream of your choice, or eaten as an ice cream sandwich!
