Ingredients: Makes 12 Crepes
* 2cups All purpose Flour
* 2cups Milk
* 4 Eggs
* 2tbsp Granulated Sugar
* 4tbsp Melted Butter
* Some oil to coat the Crepe pan or skillet
* Strawberries cut into quarters
* Banana sliced
* Chocolate for dripping (I used Nutella, but you can use a Chocolate sauce of your choice)
* Confectioner's sugar for drizzling over prepared crepes
Putting it together:
1. Combine the flour, sugar, milk, eggs and melted butter in a bowl, and whisk with a hand whisk, until the batter is smooth.
2. You can use a skillet, or a crepe pan.
3. Using a paper towel, coat the crepe pan with some oil, and heat it it at medium heat, prior to pouring the batter. You will need to coat the pan surface with oil every 3-4 crepes. Once the first 2 crepes are made, reduce the heat, as you will find it harder to swirl the batter around if the pan heats up too much.
5. Once translucent, flip the crepe using a spatula. The batter will make 12 crepes.
6. Once crepes are made, and the strawberries and banana have been prepared, you are ready to make the crepes.
7. If you are using Nutella, open the jar, and warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds, making it easier to drizzle the Nutella over the fruit.
8. Place a combination of banana and strawberries on half of the crepe, and drizzle the Nutella or chocolate sauce over it. See picture below.
9. Once the fruit and chocolate have been spread, fold the crepe over (half) and then into a quarter (folding the half again). Sprinkle confectioner's sugar over the crepes once stacked on plate.
10. Best served as they are prepared, warm.
